The examples on these pages represent some of the illustrations and designs C.A. Seward created for books, magazines, commissions and community projects and also for his two commercial design studios and art schools.  Because these pieces were printed on paper, like those in the pages devoted to Seward’s newspaper and theatre programs illustrations, it is thought that only a small number have yet been found.  If you happen to be the owner of other Seward designed books or ephemera it is hoped that you will share them with this website for they are an important piece of the history of Wichita and the early history of Kansas.
